1. Our Service

Mike's House Clearance provides residential and commercial property clearance services across Devon, Cornwall, and Somerset. All work is carried out by Mike and his team as agreed at the time of quotation.

2. Quotations

All quotes are free and no-obligation. Quotes are based on information provided by the customer. If the volume or nature of the clearance differs significantly from the description given, a revised quote may be provided before work begins.

3. Payment

Payment terms are agreed at the time of booking. We accept cash and bank transfer. Payment is due on completion of the clearance unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Cancellations

We ask for as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange. Cancellations within 24 hours of a booked job may incur a charge to cover travel and preparation costs.

5. Waste Disposal

Mike's House Clearance is a licensed waste carrier registered with the Environment Agency. All waste is disposed of legally and responsibly. We prioritise recycling and charity donation over landfill wherever possible.

6. Liability

We are fully insured with public liability cover. We take every care when working in and around your property. Any concerns must be raised on the day of the clearance. We cannot accept liability for pre-existing damage.

7. Valuables

It is the customer's responsibility to remove any items of personal or financial value before the clearance takes place. Mike's House Clearance cannot be held responsible for items left in the property that are subsequently cleared.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
